Instruments and presets

Open the Instrument Browser with Command+I / Ctrl+I. The browser shows sounds compatible with the selected track's engine: analog synth, drum sampler, or sample instrument.

Search by preset name, ID, or tag, or filter by category. Available categories include Keys, Bass, Lead, Pad, Pluck, Bell, Ambient, Kit, and All. Sort by name, creation date, or last-used date.

Working with sounds

Double-click a preset to assign and audition it. Enter or Space assigns without auditioning. Eligible imported sample presets can be dragged into the arranger or added as an audio clip. Rows identify sounds that are Assigned, In project, or Missing.

User and imported presets may expose Favorite, Rename, Category, and Delete actions. Factory presets do not expose every management action.

Use Save current sound in the Synth Rack, or Save preset in the Instrument Browser, to create a user preset from the selected track's current sound. The saved copy can then be renamed or deleted from the browser.
